The big cheese names from England at the Gourmet Station are the Wensleydale blue, a Shropshire blue with an orange curd and blue moulds, and a blue Cheshire made famous by Joseph Heller.
In the regional cheeses are the delicious, handmade Cornish Yarg handmade and unique with a firm, crumbly texture and mild flavour, and the trio of Organic Duchy Cheeses.
Handmade in Cornwall for the Duchy Estate and matured between 6 to 9 months, these are the Duchy Double Gloucester, creamy and firm with a sweet delicate flavour, Duchy Red Leicester, a deep orange cheese, smooth, mild and mellow with a nutty flavour and Duchy Wensleydale, a firm yet crumbly textured cheese with a mild refreshing flavour.
For Camembert with a difference, try our Cornish Camembert, creamy, and full-bodied with a tangy flavour and a melting, smooth texture, and the award-winning Lord of the Hundreds.
