Fish
Seafood retains a gourmet tag, the reason perhaps being the deep blue seas that holds one of the culinary world's most tasty ingredients.
Whether coastal or otherwise, seafood is not restricted to any one region or other, and the entire planet consumes a huge amount of fish and seafood. Though seafood is generally prawns, lobster, squid and others, fish enlists the finned variety, both saltwater and freshwater. Seafood also includes seaweed that can be served as food.
The area of the world you live in dictates the method you cook your gourmet seafood. You can boil, grill, barbecue, broil, fry, bake or smoke your fish. Else, you can eat it raw if you are a great fan of sushi.
There are some popular types of seafood around the world and like most eating habits depend on the area of the globe that you live in. Many varieties of fine tasting fish, molluscs and crustaceans are eaten daily.
For our customers who demand quality and good sourcing, Gourmet Station has an enviable choice of fish, from around the globe within its Fish and Seafood section. From the deliciously mild, white fish, the halibut, that usually comes from Alaska to the ultimate in seafood dining, the lobster, they are all available at our fish parade!
