From all of the cuisines across the globe comes a select menu of cooked food at our specifically designated Cooked Food section at the Gourmet Station. Prepared innovatively and supervised by our Expert Chefs, the recipes are chosen from across continents, and made with specialized ingredients in order to bring home the native flavour of the recipe.
With a base range of 55 different cuisines, this is a place for food lovers to savour and sample unique recipes.
We have a selection of both Hot & Chilled dishes. Our Roast of the day is served hot from the carving station, whereas our chilled food dishes are served for consumption at your home.
To preserve maximum possible taste, our kitchens utilize the 'Blast chilling' process, whereby freshly prepared hot food is placed in an instant freezing unit that brings the temperature down within a matter of minutes, thus preventing bacterial growth. This also preserves all-round flavour.
Food is prepared under strict guidelines in order to ensure that there is no potential risk of contamination.
Prepared within visual range, our customers can view all cooking procedures as they walk through the shop floor.
BEEF:
Beef Wellington, beef stroganoff, braised beef, beef with pak choy, green beef curry, pepper beef with cashew nuts, braised beef in coconut milk, beef satay, Swedish meatcakes, roasted beef with organic herbs, meatballs in tomato and basil sauce, Vietnam beef curry and chilli con carne.
LAMB:
Lamb curry, lamb ragout, lamb shank with yellow capsicum, lamb shank in cranberry sauce, Moroccan lamb tagine, moussaka, Moroccan lamb kebabs, Balinese lamb, daube of lamb, orange, cinnamon and rosemary, Korean style BBQ lamb ribs, Persian kofta with pita toast and lamb meat balls with apricot sauce.
CHICKEN:
Pella chicken, Thai red chicken curry, chicken masala, butter chicken, chicken biryani, tropical Jamaican coconut chicken, chicken satay, peanut and sesame chicken, braised chicken in anchovies and olives, spiced BBQ chicken rib and turkey ossa duco.
VEGETABLE:
Vegetable lasagne, Swedish Janson temptation, dauponoise potatoes, Jamaican simple pea rice, Thai braised vegetable, winter vegetable goulash, three way potato, Indonesian hot rice, vegetable kebabs, tabbouleh and vegetable curry.
SEAFOOD:
Herby fish cake, Thai green fish curry, shrimp fried rice, fish and pineapple curry, minced seafood satay, prawn sambal, Tanzania fish curry, cod tagine, Indonesian chicken and prawn rice, tuna shitake teriyaki, monk fish with peppered and citrus marmalade, braised fish in chilli and garlic sauce and Creole fish stew.
